This sesquicentennial edition of the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám has been composed in Founders Caslon types at The Folio Society and printed on Cordier Wove paper by Martins the Printers, Berwick upon Tweed, Northumberland. The plates have been printed on Hello matt art paper by Beacon Press, Uckfield, Sussex. The limited edition etching has been hand printed under the artist's supervision by the Pauper's Press, Hoxton, London, on Somerset antique velvet 100 % cotton mouldmade paper. The endpapers and limitation page have been printed letterpress on Marcate Nettuno by Logan Press, Wellingborough, Northants. The book has been hand bound in vellum blocked in 22-carat gold, with vellum tips and Merida paper sides, by The Fine Book Bindery, Wellingborough, Northants. The spine and label are hand-lettered by Stephen Raw. The edition is limited to ons thousand copies, signed and numbered by the artist on the etching, and thirty copies numbered in roman numerals, which are horse commerce.
